Michele has over twenty years of international experience working in various roles for companies such as: The Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, La Monnaie (Belgian National Opera), Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Spoleto Festival USA, Sydney Theatre Company, Malthouse Theatre and Victorian Opera.
She has completed her Masters in Arts Administration from the Australian Institute of Music; has a Secondary Education teaching degree from the University of Canberra; and has a History and Humanities degree from the University of Louisville.
Michele was the Interim CEO of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Mardi Gras Arts in 2015/16. She is currently the Head of Department for Entertainment Business at JMC Academy in Melbourne.
Michele is a committed arts practitioner and educator who enjoys empowering the next and current generation.
Claudia has nineteen years experience in the not for profit sector, with a background in program management and development. She has held leadership roles with Mission Australia and statewide senior management roles with Settlement Services International, Carers NSW and Bobby Goldsmith Foundation.
Claudia was awarded the Millennium Volunteers Award in 2002, for her work and dedication as a mentor with youth in prisons and children with disabilities and completed a scholarship at Women in Leadership in 2016/17. She is qualified in community services, mental health as well as management. Her skills include fundraising, community events, disability access and change management.
She is currently managing a homeless service at Thorne Harbour Health.
Claudia is passionate about empowering the community particularly in the homelessness and mental health space.
